Press Trim Modules

SDD specialises in producing finishing modules that add value to printed booklets. Consequently SDD supplies its finishing modules to several printer vendors. An SDD Press Trim Module can be easily attached to a printer’s booklet maker output resulting in trimmed and flatter booklets with a superior appearance.

After exiting the Press Trim Module booklets are trimmed on the long edge and pressed flat. That makes them simpler to handle and easier to distribute.

The Press Trim Module has an interface to the printer. Furthermore the trim size is adjustable for different jobs. And, automatic format change between jobs avoids the need for operator intervention. Adding this module is easy… even retrofitting it to an existing booklet maker installation is possible.
